YATRA INTRODUCTION:-

 

Being the sacred land of austerity of countless dieties, monks, sages & seers, Holy Maa Narmada is the only river who is being circumambulated (Parikrama). This divine pilgrimage, done mainly on foot and according to the Puranas & ritual's, it takes almost 3 years, 3 months, and 13 days. Parikrama is considered as the greatest penance of the Kaliyuga. Due to time constraints among this fast going life, Physical incapabilities or advanced age factor, many Narmada devotees performs this divine pilgrimage by using modern means of transportation like cars buses etc. However, this pilgrimage along the banks of Maa Narmada is not just ordinary tourism— it is a life transforming journey of life, filled with extraordinary bliss & blessings even if it is done by modern means.

With the noble aim of being a part of scriptural worship of Maa Narmada, to visit sacred pilgrimage sites, receiving insights into their mythological significance & to obtain an understanding of the grace of Maa Narmada through the holy Narmada Purana and gain blessings during Parikrama, along with well-facilitated journey as per our modern ways and physicaly capable modes, "Kaivalyadham ashram" started "Aadyatmik Narmada Parikrama" with the inspiration of pujya Guruji Pt. Shri Avinash Ji Maharaj,since 2012. The objective is to take devotees to the Laptop of Maa Narmada, making them know about the amazing and mesmerizing stories of Maa Narmada and help them attain an incredible spiritual experience.

SPIRITUAL UNIQUENESS OF THE YATRA:-

 

 * Daily musical and divine narration of the Narmada Purana by Narmada Puranacharya Pt. Anay 'Revashish'.

 

 * Daily shodashopchar Narmada pujan, as per traditional rituals.

 

 * Devine Narmada Mahashringaar pujan at five pilgrimage spots according to rituals

 

 * Grand shri Narmada Maha Aarti at Ramghat Amarkantak.

 

 * unforgettable opportunity to participate in the sacred Mahamrityunjay Yadgnya and tremendous Kanya pujan on the holy Narmada bank at the scenic venue of Kaivalyadham Ashram.

 * All the above spiritual events are organized by "Kaivalyadham Ashram" as a dedicated service to Maa Narmada. There is no additional charges included in the Yatra fare for this.

 

 * The Parikrama route of kaivalyadham, follows scripturally ordained rules (with some exception's) so the vehicle does not surpasses Satpura and Vindhya mountain ranges. Hence, pilgrimage sites like Ujjain, Mandav, Dwarka, Somnath are not included in the itinerary.

"Aadhyatmik Narmada Parikrama" is not just a tour or ordinary pilgrimage but an unforgettable spiritual experience due to above specialities.

 

DAYWISE ITINERARY:-

 

Day 1

Services of the organizers begins at 10:00 AM

12:00 PM to 2:00 PM :- Lunch session

2:00 PM to 4:30 PM :- categorisation & tagging of luggage followed by distribution of pujan sahitya (worship materials)

4:30 PM :- Tea/coffee time

From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Discussion session on arrangements related to the Parikrama followed by melodious musical incarnation katha of Maa Narmada, night hault @ Omkareshwar

 

Day 2:
7:00 AM: Sankalp Pujan followed by lunch, journey starts on divine path of Parikrama, Bajirao Peshwa Samadhi darshan (Raverkhedi), night hault @ Badwani

 

Day 3:
Rajghat Ek Mukhi Datt Darshan (established by P.P. Tembe swami), Prakasha (Dakshin Kashi, Pushpadanteshwar, Kashi Vishweshwar, Kedareshwar Darshan), overnight journey.

 

Day 4:
Shoolpaneshwar, Swaminarayan Neelkanth Dham (Poicha), Gumandev hanuman darshan, night hault @Ankaleshwar

 

Day 5:

Balbala Kund, Vimleshwar, Ratneswar, sea journey by motor boat, Meethi Talai, night hault @ Bharuch -

 

Day 6:

Neelkantheshwar (Bharuch), Nareshwar (P.P. Rangavdhoot maharaj samadhi), Kuber Bhandari (Karnali), Garudeshwar (P.P. Tembe swami samadhi, Datta mandir), night hault @ Kevadiya (Statue of Unity)

 

Day 7:

Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam (distant view), night hault @ Maheshwar.

 

Day 8:

Maheshwar (Ahilya Mata’s Fort, beautiful Narmada Ghats, Rajarajeshwar Temple, Ek Mukhi Datt Mandir and distant view of Sahastradhara), Gupteshwar (Mandleshwar), night hault @ Barwaha.

 

Day 9:
Panch Kundatmak Mahamrityunjay Yagya and kanyabhojan at Kaivalyadham Ashram premises. Night hault @Khatgaon.

 

Day 10:
Nabhiteerth (Nemawar), sidhhanath, Vidhyavasini Devi (Salkanpur) darshan, second overnight journey.

 

Day 11:
Bhedaghat, Jogi Tikariya, night hault @Amarkantak.

 

Day 12:
Amarkantak darshan (Kapildhara, Doodhdhara, Jwaleshwar, Amareshwar, Rewakund), grand enthusiastic Maha aarti of Narmada Maiyya @ Ramghat Amarkantak, night hault @ Amarkantak

 

Day 13:
Amarkantak darshan(Mai Ki Bagiya, Sonmudha, Shreeyantra Temple, Rewakund, Erandi sangam), Sangam Ghat Maharajpur, third overnight journey

 

Day 14:
Sethani Ghat (Narmadapuram), Nabhi teerth Riddheshwar (Handiya), night hault @Omkareshwar.

 

Day 15:
Omkareshwar darshan, Sankalp Visarjan, Satyanarayan Katha followed by lunch at 1:00 PM service of organizers end's and happy conclusion of Parikrama.

 

Note:

Darshan of Rajghat depends on the water level at Sardar Sarovar dam, and the Darshan of Balbala Kund depends on the sea tide timings of the steamer boat journey.

 

The above programme is subject to instantaneous circumstances. Final authority of any changes rests with the organizers.

 

RESERVATION (BOOKING) PROCESS:-

 

 * The travel fare includes vehicle charges, food, accommodation, pujan samagri (worship materials), & all local conveyances.

 

 * Deposit ₹15,000/- per person at the time of booking to confirm your seat.

 

 * Deposit ₹15,000/- per person at least 60 days before the commencement date of the journey selected by you. The remaining amount must be paid at the time of journey commencement.

 

 * All travel expenses to and from Omkareshwar must be borne by the participants.

 

 * Upon depositing the booking amount, it will be assumed that the   participant traveler is aware of and agrees to all the facilities and rules.

 

 * Kindly do not force for any kind of concession or discount

 

CACELLATION PROCEDURE:- 

 

 * If you cancel your reservation within 90 or more days before the selected tour commencement date, ₹3000 per person will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.

 

 * If you cancel your reservation between 60 to 90 days before the selected tour commencement date, ₹10,000 per person will be deducted and the remaining amount will be refunded.

 

 * If you cancel your reservation between 30 to 59 days before the selected  tour commencement date, ₹15,000 per person will be deducted from the total travel amount and the remaining amount will be refunded.

 

 * If there are only 30 days or less days left before the travel begining date, no amount will be refunded.

 

 * If the travel amount is not deposited within the specified time limit, the reservation will automatically be considered canceled, and the amount (after deduction as per rules) will be refunded.

 

 * If the traveler leaves the journey midway for any reason after it has begun, no amount will be refunded.

 

 * Due to unavoidable reasons, a traveler can transfer their reservation to another traveler.

 

 * Once the reservation is canceled, the travel amount cannot be adjusted in any other tour's conducted by the organizers.

 

 * In case of cancellation due to natural disasters or government restrictions (like lockdown, curfew, war etc.), no refund will be given, the amount will be adjusted in the future tour's.

 

 Please read this cancellation policy carefully. It will be strictly followed. No disputes will be entertained after booking.

 

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS:-

 

 * The entire journey will be completed on different days in a 2+2 AC air suspension sleeper coach bus.

 

 * Due to it being a convertible AC coach, AC will be operated when needed. Those who have issues with AC will not face any problem.

 

 * Seat (berth) numbers should be discussed in advance with the organizers before reservation. Seat (berth) numbers will not be changed under any circumstances. There will be no seat rotation.

 

 * There will be 3 overnight journey's. All other nights there will be hault in hotels.

 

 * Be mentally and physically prepared to walk 1 to 1.5 kilometers daily, during the journey.

 

ACCOMODATION ARRANGEMENT:- 

 

 * During the journey, accommodation will be arranged in double-bed rooms with attached bathrooms in well facilitated hotels for every 2 traveler' in a room. (Except in Omkareshwar). 

 

 * In Omkareshwar, accommodation will be arranged in 4-beded room for 4 travelers.

 

 * The accommodation will be non-A.C. basis. An additional charge's will apply for A.C. facilities borne by the traveller.

 * The expenses of stay in Omkareshwar before and after the journey date's, will be borne by the travelers themselves.

 

 * Bathing in the holy Maa Narmada river during the parikrama (circumambulation) is very important. However, warm water will be arranged at rest locations.

 * Be mentally prepared to climb up to the first floor, as lift facilities are not available at one or two locations.

 

WORSHIP (PUJAN) & RELIGIOUS DISCOURSE (KATHA) ARRANGEMENT :-

 

*During the journey, daily rituals including shodashopchar maa Narmada pujan and musical narration of the Narmada Purana will take place. Necessary worship materials (pujan samagri) will be provided by the organizers to all Pilgrims.

 

* Maha shringar pujan (Ritual's of Adornment) of maa Narmada will be held on 5 holy Pilgrims sites. The collective pujan samagri will be arranged by the organizers. Devotee travelers may also bring their own Adornment offering if they wish.

 

* It is mandatory for men to wear self carried white lungi, dhoti and for women to wear traditional Indian attire at the time of morning worship and discorse sessions,

 

* Sankalp (sacred resolve) pujan, daily Narmada Puran discourse, tat parivartan pujan (riverbank transformation), and other religious activities will be conducted during the journey. Each pilgrim is required to pay dakshina of ₹2101/- per person for it, apart from the travel fare on the commencement date.

 

* During the 2 tata parivartan places (sea journey and Maai ki bagiya @Amar Kantak), wearing white clothes is mandatory.

 

FOOD & DINING ARRANGEMENT :-

 * During the journey, pure and satvik (wholesome and vegetarian) delicious meals will be served twice a day, which will include sweet dish timely.

 

 * Onion, garlic, carrot, and beetroot will not be used in the meals.

 

 * Morning breakfast (dry snacks at 3 location's) and tea/coffee (twice a day) will be provided.

 

 * Special fasting meals will be arranged on Ekadashi and Sankashti Chaturthi. On fasting days, morning breakfast will not be served.

 

 * Personal or weekly fasting meals will not be provided. 

 

 * A Separate pantry car is arranged  for receiving food on time.

 

 * 2 liters of bottled RO purified drinking water per day will be provided throughout the journey

 

LUGGAGE & OTHER INSTRUCTION'S:-

 

 * Travel with minimal luggage to enjoy the journey.

 

 * An airbag, witch will be provided by the organizers to carry items sufficient for 3–4 days. Only the airbag provided by the organizers will be allowed inside the bus. This bag will be placed under the sleeper seat in the bus, and the passengers will handle this luggage.

 

 * Only 1 large suitcase or bag (up to 18 kg) per person will be accepted, which will be carried up to room by the porters once every 3–4 days.

 

 * Additional extra luggage will be  carried by passengers themselves.

 

 * Carry valuable jewelry gadget and items at your own responsibility & risk.

 

MISCELLANEOUS INSTRUCTION'S:-

 

 * The traveler will take care of their physical health and dietary restrictions themselves. Carry necessary medications in adequate quantity. First aid facilities will be available. In case of serious health issues, the family will be informed, and an appropriate decision will be taken.

 

 * Travelers should carry government-approved identity documents (such as Aadhar card, etc.)during the journey. Also, submit a passport-sized photo with the application form on commencement day

 

 * traveler is responsible to follow safety guidelines while bathing in the Narmada River and at other places.

 

 * Travelers must ensure cleanliness at the ghats (riverbanks) of Maa Narmada and must not use soap while bathing.

 

 * Due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers reserve the right to make changes in the schedule.

 

 * All participants will be added to a WhatsApp group where detailed information will be provided before one month of commencing date.

 

 * All disputes will be resolved under the legal jurisdiction area of Barwaha M.P.
